TREKKING DESCRIPTION

Santa Cruz is one of the classics among classics. It is the most popular trek and one of the most beautiful in the entire range. Along the route we will see the great snow-capped peaks while crossing three spectacular valleys: Santa Cruz, Huaripampa and Llanganuco. Our relaxed hike is for people with no previous experience or for hikers looking for more time in nature.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Huaraz – Yungay – Vaquería – Paria Camp (3860 m)

Hike of approximately 4 hours.

Day 2

Paria Camp (3860 m) – Punta Unión Pass (4750 m) – Taullipampa Camp

Hiking approximately 7 hours.

Day 3

Taullipampa Camp – Alpamayo Base Camp – Llamacoral Camp (3700 m)

Day 4

Llamacoral Camp (3700 m) – Cashapampa – Huaraz
